In pictures: Aston Villa and England legend spotted pouring pints at Lichfield bar during Villa win against Tottenham

He’s one of the best known faces of Aston Villa past and present.

And Dion Dublin took a break from the playing and presenting football matches and TV programmes to score a perfect pint of Guinness at Bar Home in Lichfield during Villa’s winning match against Spurs on Sunday (October 19).

Dublin’s playing career saw him represent England at international level while also making 155 appearances for Aston Villa, scoring 48 times.

For some people, Dublin may be better known in his post-playing career as the presenter of the hit BBC daytime show, Homes under the Hammer, while also being a regular pundit on shows such as Football Focus and Match of the Day.

As part of Guinness's Matchday Roadshow, the former striker tried his hand at pouring the perfect pint of Guinness, serving some locals a pint of the black stuff.

To make things even better, Dion and fans watched on as Villa came from behind to beat Spurs 2-1 in front of a packed house of Villa fans at the new Social Pub and Kitchen venue, which previously replaced Walkabout Lichfield at the end of September following a huge six-figure investment.

One of the best places to watch sport in Lichfield – the six-figure investment saw the addition of new HD TVs including a huge 65-inch TV in the bar’s sports zone that has hugely enhanced the matchday experience.

Guests have also been enjoying new features such as two new interactive dart boards, a traditional dart board, two pool tables and an arcade game, all helping make a night at Bar Home one of the best nights out in the area.
