The restaurant and bar at the Moat House in Acton Trussell in Staffordshire has been given a new and fresh look which owners the Lewis Partnership said would make it a cohesive and welcoming space.

The Lewis Partnership is a family-run hospitality group that has been in business for more than 35 years, over three generations, and own and operate three venues in Staffordshire.

Set to reopen on September 18, the historic venue on the edge of Stafford will unveil a reimagined, more informal dining experience, designed with community at its core.

The refurbishment work has included bringing together its bar and restaurant into one space, with the aim of offering a relaxed and modern space where everyone feels at home.

The new menu at the Moat House blends seasonal, ingredient-led cooking with the British classics the venue is known for.

The Lewis Partnership said Guests could expect unified, informal dining experience with no separation between bar and restaurant, dishes that combine British ingredients, local sourcing, and bold seasonal flavour and a refreshed interior that balances tradition with modern warmth.

Emily Lewis, Operations Director at The Moat House, said: "“This isn’t a reinvention, it’s a reimagining.

“We’ve streamlined what we do to focus on relaxed, flavour-led food and a space where guests feel instantly welcome.

"It’s still us, just more in tune with how people want to dine today.”
