Residents at Parkfield Grange Care Home, in Hagley Road, in Stourbridge, love watching the tense psychological adventure competition where 22 strangers move into castle grounds in the Scottish Highlands to complete a series of challenges and missions with a twist. The team is split between 'faithful' and cloak wearing 'traitor'  members who need to avoid being 'banished' or 'murdered'.

The care home's version of the game has been specially tailored for the elderly players who initially requested a murder mystery competition which developed into an adaptation of the BBC series with use of a round table, card games and other activities.

They are taking part in their own live action version of The Traitors over the course of 10 days when the residents will be involved in missions, round table discussions and lots of playful suspicion.

The idea came from residents during a wellbeing forum with the fun activities designed to be inclusive and social. These comprise scavenger hunts, where residents solve puzzles and riddles, as well as taste-based challenges using dishes created by the in-house catering team and observation games around the care home.
