The Wolverhampton singer - who used to work for the AA before reaching the finals of the hit TV show earlier this year - performed three songs on stage at Wordsley Carnival, much to the delight of fans.

Families surrounded a small stage at St George V field to listen to the local performer, who kicked off his session with Think Like A Man, before belting out his famous track Wiggle and Wine.

Finding time for one more, he launched into a fun rendition of 'I Like To Move It', before graciously stepping off the stage to pose for selfies and sign printed photographs.

When asked how he felt about such a crowd gathering to watch him perform he said: "Aw man, it's fantastic. It feels just brilliant and it's such an honour to be here.

"For the local people to embrace you like this is just a fantastic feeling."

Mother and Cradley Heath resident Claire Keeler came along with her husband and two daughters age 10 and seven to watch Donchez Dacres in action.

She said: "We support the carnival every year, it's just fantastic. But the girls are such huge Donchez fans, they watch him on YouTube and they love Britain's Got Talent.

"They left us in the car park and just ran in!"
