A magical North Pole Express is coming to Merry Hill this Christmas - here’s when and how to get on board

Merry Hill is offering families the chance to take a magical journey, as a brand new, fully immersive Santa experience – the North Pole Express – gets set to depart this December. 

It’s the first festive experience to include Santa at the destination for over 10 years. It will be at Merry Hill in Brierley Hill from Friday 5th December to Tuesday 23rd December.. 

New to the UK and located in the event space, families are invited to board a beautifully themed, vintage-style train carriage, decked in lush festive décor – including snow-frosted windows and beautiful garlands – complete with the scent of cinnamon and the sounds of merry festive music. They will then embark on a train journey through snowy landscapes, winter forests, and enchanted villages, all bound for the North Pole. 

As the festive trip progresses, Santa will greet the passengers, reveal their festive wish-list for 2025, spend time stopping for photo-ops, and every child will receive a very special gift. 

Visitors can pause for insta-ready festive-themed moments to create the perfect backdrop for more cosy family photos.
