A book lover, who shares her passion with almost 4,000 TikTok fans, has revealed her absolute 'must reads' for the new year.
Kelly Bloomer, who posts online under the username @kelly86booktok, began sharing her love of books on TikTok in 2022 with the rise of the 'BookTok' trend.
'BookTok' is a TikTok community where users create and share videos about books, including reviews, discussions, and recommendations. It has had a major impact on book sales and trends, influencing a new generation of readers.
The 38-year-old, based in the Black Country, discovered a love of literature after becoming unwell, finding books offered a welcome escape. Since then, she has gained support from thousands who share the same passion.
Kelly admitted in a recent ‘life update’ video that 2025 hasn’t been easy after being admitted to hospital multiple times due to a hernia. However, she says the TikTok community have been extremely supportive.
