'I religiously watch it every day' - Delight as Bargain Hunt comes to Staffordshire antique fair
There were antiques galore to choose from for the teams lucky enough to bag a place on BBC series Bargain Hunt which was being filmed at Staffordshire County Showground over the weekend.
Willenhall mother and daughter Karen Durkin and Liv Durkin; along with couple Eammon Kelly-Roche, of Halesowen, and Kerry Miley, of Erdington, all said they were big fans of the show. They were among the contestants taking part in filming for four programmes which will be aired at a later date.

They were joined by experts including Izzie Balmer and Nick Hall for the shoot which took place at the Weston Road showground's Bingley Hall Stafford Antique Fair organised by Continuity Fairs.

Eammon, a foster carer, says: "I religiously watch it every day. I put my feet up and make a nice coffee when Bargain Hunt is on the telly. I love sculpture and I collect sculptures. So I've got some reproduction pieces and which I absolutely adore collecting."

Karen says: "We just love Bargain Hunt. For us it's all about the show. And at the end of the episodes it says, if you can do this give it a try so we're giving it a try.

"You don't want to spend a lot. I know we've got to spend £75 on something."

Nick Bayliss, owner of Continuity Fairs, adds: "We've had Bargain Hunt come to most of our shows, but this is the first time they've ever been to Bingley Hall, and they've absolutely loved it. They filmed four shows here two on Saturday and two on Sunday, and it gets on television about three months later."
