Chris Warsop, author of the Percy Drip children’s books, spent Friday, August 15 in Cannock for six 30-minute read-alongs from his popular series.

The sessions ran from 10am until 3pm, and was part of a wider programme of activities happening in libraries across Staffordshire as part of the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge.

Children were invited to step into the world of plumber Percy Drip, where leaky taps lead to wild adventures, and a talking dog named Trousers might just save the day.
