Veteran rocker Sting, formerly of The Police, appeared with his band on the third of four big nights of music

The popular event has so far brought thousands of people to watch the concert series in the natural bowl arena at Cannock Chase will the closing show due on Saturday(28).

Forest Live is a major live music series held at various forests and organised by Forestry England. The tour was first held in 24 years ago as a way of hearing the best live music and allowing fans to connect with nature in unique settings.

Acts this week also have included Nile Rodgers & Chic,  Brand New Heavies, The Florentines,   Freya Ridings, Snow Patrol,  Sophie Grey and  Imelda May.

The final night will see headline act James, Razorlight and Jamie Webster bring the curtain down on another fabulous event.
