Word Of Mouth Festival heading to Perton Park Golf Club

Word Of Mouth Festival is bringing together music, food, fashion and families to create a unique experience at Perton Park Golf Club on Sunday into Monday morning – a whole 12 hours.

It bills itself as 'a celebration of local people, food, live music, DJs and enterprise, for foodies, fashionistas and families'.

A statement on the event's Facebook page said: "Kicking things off at 1pm you'll find kids entertainment, arts and crafts, a mini zoo, live music, stalls, street food, a huge main bar, Moet & Chandon Champagne bar, prosecco bar, pop up fashion and beauty stalls and much more.

"Then from early afternoon 'til 1am our indoor main stage will also spill into the gardens and will feature DJs and live acts from sax and percussion all laying down the soundtrack of nu disco, vocal house and club classics."

Acts set to line-up include organiser, promoter and DJ Stuart Ojelay, Dan Warby, Rob Cook, Edd Cooke, Calum Bayliss live on sax, Elliot Morris live on percussion and recent The Ticket Unsigned page star Amy Goodall, plus many more.

There are also a whole host of food and trade stalls to keep revellers fed and watered. Children's entertainment is headed up by The Animal Man and includes a wacky inflatable assault course.

Organiser Mr Ojelay said: "I'm delighted to co-ordinate an event that is accessible for a broad range of people of all ages.

"We are mixing local enterprise and entertainers with such huge worldwide brands. Hopefully there’s something for everyone to enjoy through the day."

Physical tickets cost £12 in advance or £15 on the door. They are on sale at Ego-Hairsalon, Tettenhall; Diffusion, Wolverhampton; Wow Hair Wolverhampton; Wow Hair Codsall; Cute Hair Salon, Tettenhall; David Corfield Gymnasium, Cosford; Evolution Leisure, Wombourne; and Active Fitness Club, Wombourne.
