The first Willenhall Beer Festival opens its doors at 4pm today.

The event, which runs to Sunday is showcasing ales from microbreweries from Walsall, Wolverhampton and Essington and takes place in the 442 Bar and Grill at the Aspray Arena, Noose Lane.

There will be music from Rhythm Dogs on Saturday night and Bordeline on Sunday.

There is free entry with beer tokens open for purchasing at the marquee. There is a returnable deposit of £1 for glasses.
