Lindisfarne set to bring festive show to Bilston's Robin 2
Legendary 70s folk-rock pioneers Lindisfarne are returning with a festive tour that includes a headline gig at Bilston's Robin 2 on Thursday.
The band's classic six-piece line up of long-time members will be fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar.
Fans can look forward to a repertoire of unforgettable songs like Meet Me On The Corner, Fog On The Tyne, Lady Eleanor and Run For Home.
They will be joined by support act The Blackheart Orchestra, a British singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist duo comprising long term collaborators Chrissy Mostyn and Richard Pilkington.
The band blend musical styles in a non-conformist way, fusing pop, folk, jazz, classical and electronica to create their unique classically-driven music.
