Reggae is the order of the day down in King's Heath and it's a special one. Monday night regulars Jam Jah are celebrating 15 solid years of their night and they've got a tonne of friends and family down to The Hare & Hounds for the party.

Juggla, Messenger Douglas, Keyah, Lion Art, Myki Tough, Tomlin Mystic, Olbi Iyah Bongo Damo and Robidon have got the music covered and, with a 15-year fan base to back them, expect a roadblock. Happy Birthday to these lot. The second birthday this Friday is Fidget and, although they're younger than Jam Jah, they've still got seven years under their belt. They're taking to The Rainbow to party in style.

Taiki & Nulight, Brent Kilner, Pete Graham and Brandon Ross have got the controls here and you can look forward to bass music all of types. Tickets are on final release so snap them up before they're all gone.

Over at Amusement 13, the FKZS crew are bringing another of their residents parties to town.

Details are under lock and key but if you head over to their Facebook page and text the contact number you can get clued up in proper old school party style.

Saturday has more on offer and first up is a double bill of jungle and drum and bass.

PST has the 90s jungle sound covered for Rizzlas Birthday Bash. Presented by Payback Promotions, they've got some veterans for this one.

Headliner Remarc is a true pioneer of the amen break meaning this is a history lesson you won't want to miss, while DJ Hybrid knows his way round a big bassline or two. Amusement 13 is taking a more contemporary approach and instead brings the futuristic sounds of Commix, Hybrid Minds and Sam Binga to the table. Expect genre defying blends of dark soundscapes and styles from DNB Collective's first outing at the city centre venue.

Other flavours for the night include 25 years of DJ Mag over at Rainbow, which brings together an all-star lineup from across the dance music spectrum. DJ EZ has got UKG covered. Randall brings the drum and bass, Stanton Warriors bring the breaks, and dubstep pioneer Benga returns for the first time in years.
