Pub Landlord Al Murray pulls in the laughs at Wolverhampton Civic
He's a publican, politician and philosopher.

The nation's critically acclaimed bar-based-braveheart, Al Murray – The Pub Landlord, is planning to talk common sense into Great Britain with his new show.
He will bring Let's Go Backwards to Wolverhampton's Civic Hall tomorrow and Stafford Gatehouse on November 12 to examine the troubling times in which we live.
Murray will talk about Europe, the NHS and the gathering storm of fortnightly bin collections.
It's been a busy year for Murray, who stood against Nigel Farage at the General Election.
"I know everyone says that they're lining their pockets and we can't trust them and that they're lying to us...but no one's compelled them to be a politician and when they do become one, everyone waits for them to make a mistake and treats them the standards of the lowest of their number."
He started his career as a comic when he began studying at Oxford University. He met Stewart Lee and Richard Herring working on a sketch show and never looked back.
"If you're at Oxford, you are somewhere where the opportunities are simply spectacular and you should drink deep, and you shouldn't worry about anything else but that."
In 1990, he worked with Harry Hill and that led to the accidental birth of the Pub Landlord.
"I don't do very much as me. I did some presenting a few years back but the problem is, if it's not something I'm interested in then I just glaze over, and nobody wants to see that on television."
