Wildhearts to host Halloween hootenanny at Wolverhampton's Slade Rooms

Ginger Wildheart's band will line up with the Urban Voodoo Machine, the Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, Massive Wagons and Hey! Hello!, with tickets for Saturday's available from the venue.

Ginger once had a reputation for being one of rock's great hellraisers.

However, he has lasted more than 25 years in the music industry.

He said: "I didn't even think I'd make it past the 90s, and many people agreed. I was top of Kerrang's most likely to peg it list for many years, which is nice. Lots of things have come with age that I never expected, like patience, forgiveness and gratitude.

"And some good stuff has stayed too: I kept my hair and stayed slim. Plus I have a much better reputation nowadays. Ageing is okay by me."
