The amateur theatre company established in 1927, performed annually at The Theatre Royal in Bilston for 30 years, before moving to the Grand Theatre where they have performed ever since.

Their latest production, featuring the music of Madness, stars Ben Evans from Lower Penn who plays Joe Casey and is currently studying at Birmingham Ormiston Academy. Abi Strudwicke from Codsall Wood will play Sarah – she is currently head girl at Thomas Telford School.

It will be directed and choreographed by Laura Canadine, with the remainder of the cast made up of dedicated local performers. The musical combines a well crafted romantic tale juxtaposed with the energetic songs of Madness.

The show features the songs It Must Be Love, Baggy Trousers, Night Boat To Cairo, House Of Fun, Driving In My Car and of course – Our House.

Our House will show at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from Tuesday, November 15.
