He may be tiny, but Tink the muntjac deer needs plenty of attention. He is being hand-reared at Amerton Farm in Staffordshire.

Also known as the barking deer, the muntjac deer is the oldest known species of deer.

The population now found in most of southern England is the Reeves' Muntjac named after John Reeves, who was an inspector with The East India Tea Company in 1812.
