Sherlock Holmes novel The Hound of the Baskervilles brought to life at Cannock Chase Museum
A classic Sherlock Holmes tale will be brought to life at Cannock Chase Museum next month.
Fired Up Theatre Company are set to bring a live performance of The Hound of the Baskervilles at the museum on August 19 and 20.
Rachel Gentle, visitor services officer, said: "We are thrilled that Fired Up Theatre Group has confirmed Cannock Chase Museum as one of the venues for their production of the Hound of the Baskervilles.
"We are keeping fingers crossed for lovely summer weather and are sure that audiences will delight in the unique theatre setting."
The performance is suitable for children aged eight upwards and audience members are invited to bring picnics and fold up seating or rugs and to come prepared for all weathers.
Theatre-goers will be admitted to the gardens 45 minutes before the production starts.
Tickets are £15 for adults, £10 for children aged over eight and £40 for a family ticket.
