Walsall Gallery to stay open despite funding cuts
A controversial move to shut the New Art Gallery in Walsall on Sundays looks set to be avoided.

The borough council announced the possible measure last year in a bid to save £19,360 in 2016/2017.
But Walsall's leisure and culture boss Councillor Anthony Harris has stated the authority was now considering u-turning on the move.
He said: "Before the holiday I had an interim report which said there was an opportunity there to keep it open and I am optimistic we will be able to do that.
"It will be as a result of the management team at the art gallery doing a superb job.
"I am due to have a meeting to discuss it but that's where we are at the moment."
He added: "None of us want to shut things.
"We are in such difficult times here."
