And just like the name of her second novel, A Christmas Kiss, there were plenty of kisses being planted by her fans.

The former Geordie Shore star was in Birmingham on Saturday for the launch of the book. Some fans queued up outside WHSmith in Union Street for hours just to get the chance for a brief meeting with the celebrity.

Vicky, 28, rose to fame on the north-east reality TV show but was recently crowned the winner of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

While some celebs don't take to the jungle surroundings, Vicky said she was 'devastated' to have to leave after three weeks. She said: "I absolutely loved it in the jungle – it was the best experience of my life. It was three weeks where I got to let my hair down, not get pulled from pillar to post and just totally be myself.

"I got to meet new people and do new things. I did it to show people that I'm not exactly what they think I am – there's lots more to me than meets the eye. It was the first time a lot of people had seen elements of my personality."

Joe Exall, 14, was lucky enough to plant a kiss on Vicky's cheek. The teenager, from Great Barr, said: "It was really good, I really enjoyed meeting her. She used to be one of my favourite characters on Geordie Shore."
