David Byrne set to play Birmingham Symphony Hall
Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and will team up with St Vincent for a headline show at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Wednesday.

David Byrne and St Vincent will play songs from their collaborative album. Fans can witness an intriguing blend of Byrne's new wave, experimental pop sound, with the art-rock, indie-pop influences of St Vincent, as they perform songs from their album Love This Giant.
The album has won rave reviews with The Sunday Times describing their infectious and modern, hook-laden rock rhythms as 'an engrossing triumph'.
The Independent called their record: 'A skewed and funky instant classic', while BBC 6Music said: 'Byrne and Clark have managed to not only meet but exceed expectations, and created one of the year's smartest albums in doing so.'

Byrne and St Vincent began working together in 2009 and were inspired by Brian Eno. Eno had previously worked with Byrne on the 2008 collaboration Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.
Byrne and St Vincent met in 2009 at a Radio City Music Hall benefit for the AIDS/HIV charity Dark Was The Night. They met again at the New York thrift shop Housing Works and a concert organiser suggested they work together.
The duo's album sleeve was inspired by Beauty and the Beast, with Byrne depicted as Buzz Lightyear-esque and St Vincent as a grotesque beast.
They undertook a full American tour last autumn, starting in Minneapolis in September and continuing to Vancouver at the end of October. Earlier this year they visited Australia before returning to play a series of shows in the USA and then flying out to Europe.
