So I'm just back in time from a midweek gig in Zante to tell you about this weekend's clubbing shenanigans in the West Midlands. Pleased to say I'll be getting well and truly stuck in locally too – so please read on.
A brand new event has been put together by house music lovers for house music lovers and is aimed at creating a party vibe with the finest underground sounds. Noir is taking place at the Quadrant Lounge in Wolverhampton tonight featuring DJs Steffan Taylor, Pete Wong, Rossco and AJ Daniels.
Yolo continues at Gorgeous in Wolverhampton with free entry until midnight and £1 drinks till 1am – which all adds up to a great value night out!
Judgement night is back at Monty's is Sedgely for the very best in bassline from Craigy Boy and Wayne Scott Fox with free CD giveaways and vodka shots for those that head down early doors.
It's Strawberries and Cream Party at Piques in Cannock hosted by DJ Keeko whom will be laying down the urban grooves.
Tonight I'll be heading over to Rugby to play alongside my very talented production partner Ted Nilsson at Style Bar for the launch of Future Disco. Looks a great intimate venue to fire out some sumptuous grooves!
Onto Saturday and the bulk of the hype is coming from The Type Festival and Circo Loco in The Arena, Digbeth, Birmingham.
Across Saturday and Sunday you will be treated to an array of cutting-edge acts from electronic dance music in a cleverly crafted space within the second city.
Headliners include Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, The Martinez Brothers and Jamie Jones.
After party revellers from Saturday night into Sunday morning should look no further than Bushwackers in Birmingham as Second City take over the terrace area once more for a true taste of Chicago Jackin House.
The sound Diggers, Beat Hustler, NJ Maxell and Mr. Pickle are in deck control.
Delighted to be back in Wolverhampton on Saturday to play at Full On Saturdays at Walkabout alongside Matt Sherrington.
Heard some great things about the place attracting some huge crowds so fingers crossed for more of the same! It's a dead cert I'll be armed with the big house hitters so hopefully catch a many of you there.
