Dora The Explorer coming to Birmingham

Kid's favourite Dora The Explorer will appear live in Birmingham with six shows planned this weekend.

Dora The Explorer Live will play out at Birmingham's New Alexandra Theatre, with one show today, three tomorrow and two on Sunday.

The action focuses on Dora's lost teddy bear Osito and her search to retrieve him.

A spokesman for the show said: "With the help of the audience, Map, Backpack, Boots, Diego and their courageous friends, Dora uses her map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully pass through the number pyramid and the mixed-up jungle to reach the City of Lost Toys."

Koba Entertainment's artistic director Patti Caplette has used the company's hallmark innovative multimedia technology to create a truly unique production.

The live musical adventure features an all-star creative team including F&D Scene Changes and projection designer, Beth Kates.

Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys has been tremendously successful worldwide, selling more than two million tickets.
