Killswitch Engage have headline slot at Birmingham Institute
American metalcore heroes Killswitch Engage will follow the release of their recent album Disarm The Descent with a headline gig at Birmingham's Institute on Saturday, May 4th.

The band, now reunited with original singer Jesse Leach, have been blazing a trail across the UK as part of a European tour, which kicked off in in Amsterdam last month.
They have been firm favourites among metal fans since forming from the wreckage of Overcast and Aftershock in 1999. They have released six albums and one DVD and played at some of the world's biggest festivals, including Wacken Open Air, Rock Am Ring, Download Festival, and the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.
They made their names after the release of their successful 2004 album The End of Heartache, which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold.
The title track, The End of Heartache, was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2005 for Best Metal Performance.
The band are widely regarded as being among the founders of metalcore and have sold more than four million records in the US.
