Outrageous comedian Roy "Chubby" Brown will be serving up his near-the-knuckle jokes and comedy banter in Wolverhampton Civic Hall next week.

Those who are easily offended might want to give the show, on Monday, December 19, a wide berth.

Born in Middlesbrough, the foul-mouthed funnyman's real name is Royston Vasey, which became the inspiration for the name of the sinister town in cult comedy series The League of Gentlemen.

Vasey claims his grotesque Chubby alter-ego is simply a stereotype and not intended to offend anyone.

However, the crude nature of this alter-ego means that he rarely appears on mainstream television. Live, it's a different story – and most people attending his gigs know what to expect. You have been warned!

Tickets are on sale priced £21, although concessions are available. Doors open at 6.45pm. To book, call the box office on 0870 320 7000.
