Anthems with a twist are in order at Gorgeous Bar in Wolverhampton tonight as Matrix Club Mix are performing live.

These guys are a live five-piece dance band playing classic club tracks right up to the present day hits.

Something truly unique and most definitely worth checking out. DJs in support are Chris Steele, Phil Gardner and Simon Jay.

Cheap Slute lands tonight aiming to bring the underground vibe to The Bank Vault in Cannock.

For their Christmas event expect party music for party people, from Balearic beats to classics from DJs Fryer, Nick Lunn, Gaz Hunt and Phil Walker.

Again something different for your early Friday evening into night is Come Dine with Dan at the Birmingham's newest cocktail bar Buddha Blue.

Dan Kelly from Capital FM is in control of the music from R&B to party anthems and you're invited to indulge in noodles and cocktails from 7pm.

Moving into your Saturday night and what's looking like a secret gem is Sessions at the Alex, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton.

Legendary DJ John Kelly is making a guest appearance along with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor now turned DJ Jake Abraham.

Resident DJs include Levi, Ktee Mac and Tom Welcutt. You'll find anything from rare groove and classic house to breakbeat, all aimed at giving you a friendly party atmosphere.

Moving into Walsall and Vogue brings you Lush, delivering a twist of glamour to its weekly urban party, playing the best in R&B, hip-hop and old-school garage.

This week they have very special guest MC Romeo, a former member of So Solid Crew. Resident Mr Tubz will then fire out all the big urban hits.

Heading into Birmingham and bringing a slice of Chicago with them are Second City.

Taking place at the Bulls Head in Moseley, they serve up Chicago house and all things deep, funky and American styles.

DJs include James Fierce, NJ Maxwell, Luke Bliss and Mr Pickle.

Some fine musical treats for the purists shall be coming out of the Rainbow, Birmingham, on Saturday as Uber celebrate their seventh birthday.

It's also the Vocal Booth 2011 official reunion and head honcho Andy Ward shall be returning from his Mediterranean base to play an exclusive set alongside headliner Atjazz. Residents Paul Griff and Gary Ward will also be laying down quality soulful beats.
