The Italian tenor has sold more than 70 million albums over the course of a 20-year career, as he first emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the world of opera in the early 1990s. Bocelli will be performing a selection of music on the night, including songs featured on his recent critically acclaimed live album Concerto: One Night In Central Park.
Having recorded seven complete operas, released more than a dozen hit records and performed worldwide, Bocelli is one of, if not the, most successful opera singers of our time. He can sing anything from Verdi to Puccini, Mascagni to Massenet.
