This year's Lichfield Roots and Folk Festival promises to be the best yet, according to organisers.
Now in its third year, the event takes place between October 21 and 23 at the Lichfield Guildhall.
It has a varied programme to suit all tastes of roots music from blues to folk as well as a variety of workshops. Punters will also be able to enjoy fine food and real ales.
Chris Newcombe, director of Lichfield Arts, said: "I think 2011 will be the best line-up ever – there's a great mix of folk and blues music."
