As X Factor's latest hunt for a superstar continues, we catch up with the show's biggest band, JLS, ahead of a 2012 arena tour which includes a show at Birmingham's LG Arena in March 2012.
JLS have vowed to take the Midlands by storm when they perform in the region as part of their national arena tour next year.
The four-strong boyband have promised fans two "incredible" shows at Birmingham's LG Arena in March 2012 with tickets on sale now.
Speaking to the Express & Star, singer Marvin said the group could not wait to whip up a frenzy in the Midlands.
"We always look forward to performing here," said the 26-year-old heart-throb.
"There's just something different about the people and the crowd. The crazy reaction here has always been incredible and it is one of the best places in the country to go. It's going to be something else.
"For anybody who saw the last tour, it was amazing. It's going to be hard to top that but we've got some incredible ideas and an incredible team to make it even better than the last show.
"We're doing everything we can and are working really hard."
The announcement of the JLS tour hitting Birmingham follows the band's successful appearance at the LG Arena last year.
Thousands of people watched Marvin, Aston, Ortise and JB belt out a string of hits they had been working on since finishing runners-up on the 2008 series of X Factor.
Marvin said all four band members were "hooked" on the latest series of the hit show, which has seen the introduction of new judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.
"People forget we're just as big a fans of the show as anybody else!" said Marvin, who has been together with The Saturdays beauty Rochelle Wiseman for over a year.
"Me and Rochelle sit there and watch it. We laugh and we cry.
"Gary is all about the music and the vocal performance, that's what everything is about for him and he's very straight. Louis is Louis and Tulisa has been doing her thing. The show can produce some fantastic artists, such as Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and Olly Murs.
"The show gave four young guys the opportunity to change our lives and it has done that for us. It's all down to the genius that is Simon Cowell."
When asked about his relationship with Rochelle, who he has been with since March last year, and whether he would soon pop the question, he said: "Wait and see. Wait and see."
JLS will perform at Birmingham LG Arena on Friday March 16, 2012, and Saturday, March 17, 2012. Tickets cost £25 and £32.50 plus fees.
