Stafford's MET Studio launches comedy season

Next Saturday sees the launch of the Stafford MET Studio's monthly comedy season, bringing laughter to the county town through to the new year.

Following the launch of The MET Studio at the Gatehouse Theatre in September 2010, the 110-capacity venue has gone from strength to strength, offering a combination of big names such as Greg Davies, Jon Richardson and up and coming stars such as Patrick Monahan and Paul Chowdhry.

The MET Studio has become a regular stop-off for those travelling to and from the Edinburgh Fringe or preparing for their slot on Russell Howard's Good News Show.

At each event audiences are greeted by a compere and introduces to two comedians.
