Chubby comedian and Phoenix Nights star Peter Kay is returning for a second stint in Britain's second city as he tours with his 'Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour'.
It is the tour's second visit to Birmingham, after a sell-out five days at the NIA in April, and the Northern funnyman will be setting up camp this time in the city's biggest venue, the LG Arena.
It is his first national tour in seven years, since his award winning 'Mum Wants A Bungalow Tour', and he's certainly making the most of it – he will be performing almost constantly until October.
"I'm delighted to be back on tour and have been completely overwhelmed with the demand for tickets," he said.
Critics have lauded the new material as a return to form for Kay, who many considered to have lost his edge with Britain's Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice.
The words "tears of laugher" and "doubled-over" have been bandied around ever since, so anyone with a ticket is in for a treat – and those who haven't still have a chance as they're not yet all sold out.
Tickets are £35.74, from www.theticketfactory.com
