The cult mod band Secret Affair will play just one gig in the Midlands this year – and that gig just so happens to be Saturday night at Bromsgrove's Artrix Theatre

Back in 1979 when mods ruled the world, Secret Affair churned out hits including Time for Action and My World as frontman Ian Page vied with Paul Weller for the title of spokesman for the mod movement.

More than 30 years on and Ian and co are still going strong and the band promises an energetic set tomorrow night (June 11, 2011) – it might be a bit of a trip over to Bromsgrove but it's the closest their coming this year.

Support comes from local band The Quik. Tickets, priced at £17.50, are available now. Call the box office on 01527-577330 or visit www.artrix.co.uk to book.
