Arctic Monkeys to play the LG Arena, Birmingham

Arctic Monkeys are to play Birmingham's LG Arena on Friday November 4, 2011, as part of their UK arena tour.

Following the release of new album, Suck It and See, on Monday the band will play their first UK headline dates of 2011 this coming weekend at two special hometown shows in Sheffield.

This latest Birmingham date will be Arctic Monkeys' first arena show in the region since the band performed at The NIA in November 2009, when they were fresh from headlining that year's Leeds and Reading Festival.
