Duran Duran hopeful on Birmingham concert

Duran Duran have been forced to cancel the second of their UK tour dates - but the group say they hope to make it to the LG Arena in Birmingham on Saturday.

They pulled out of tonight's Glasgow date after singer Simon Le Bon was diagnosed with laryngitis.

The opening date of their UK tour in Newcastle was axed yesterday.

Meanwhile, extra tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow for Take That's concerts at Villa Park on June 27 and 28.
