Simple Minds to play Cannock Chase gig

One of the 1980s biggest rock bands are coming to Cannock Chase next summer.

Simple Minds are the first act to announce dates for live shows put on by the Forestry Commission where bands perform the spectacular woodland locations around the country.

The show on June 25 forms part of the band's Greatest Hits Forest Tour and tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
