The Black Country star will be performing with Band Of Joy when he takes to the Brum stage on Wednesday October 27.
The Wolves fan, who led the classic rock act through the late 1960s and 1970s as they built a huge worldwide fanbase, will be performing solo material.
He won two Grammys for 2007's acclaimed collaboration with Allison Kraus, Raising Sand.
