Scottish pop legend Midge Ure rolled back the years when he took to the stage with Ultravox at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
The group were back in the city for the second year running last night due to public demand, bringing Return To Eden Part II to the city's stage.
Last night's show, which included a line-up of Chris Cross, Warren Cann and Billy Currie, was one of only six which will be performed in the UK before it moves on to Europe.
Ultravox were one of the primary exponents of the British electronic pop music movement of the early 1980s and last night's show saw them perform material from all their albums including Vienna, Rage in Eden and Quartet as well as material not covered in the last tour.
Singles Sleepwalk, Passing Strangers, Vienna, All Stood Still and Dancing With Tears in My Eyes saw Ultravox become one of Britain's most successful bands of the eighties.
In 1986 Ultravox split up and Midge Ure pursued a solo career. The single If I Was reached the top of the charts and subsequent album The Gift reached number two.
