The Soldiers, the squaddies who have hit the record charts, are set to patrol the nation as they set out on a national tour which will take in Birmingham Symphony Hall.
Following the success of The Soldiers' debut album Coming Home, the three serving soldiers - Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi, Sergeant Richie Maddocks and Sergeant Major Gary Chilton - have announced a 24-date national tour which arrives at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
The Soldiers will release their much-anticipated Christmas single, A Soldiers Christmas Letter, on December 9 and will give the public a taster of what they have in store at both the Children of Courage Awards as well as at the Royal Variety Performance.
The support from the public has been overwhelming, with a Facebook page which receives over 5000 hits per day, willing them to reach the Christmas number one spot over the X Factor winner.
Twenty-five pence from each sale of A Soldiers Christmas Letter is being donated to the Army Benevolent Fund. Donations from the sale of every album and the track Coming Home are also being donated to support three charities, the Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.
