Review: Franz Ferdinand at Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Franz Ferdinand may have been keeping a low profile for a while but last night's gig in Wolverhampton proved they are back and desperate to impress.

Hitting the road this month on the back of a new album, the band delivered an eclectic set which both entertained and perplexed.
A healthy smattering of classics such as Matinee and This Fire, mixed with a few newbies, Ulysses and Can't Stop Feeling, helped the crowd get going.
They were craving acceptance and got it with their classic blend of guitar based rhythm before the brilliant Take Me On ended a mix and match set.
When they hit the big time in 2003, Franz Ferdinand were a trailblazing indie group but now they are stuck in an identity crisis.
Franz Ferdinand are heading to an electro-pop end.
They were the classic group ready to show their prowess over others but must go back to their roots to ensure they don't fade into the background again.
