McFly added to V Festival bill
Pop band McFly and singing star Pixie Lott have been named as the latest additions to this year's V Festival line-up.
It comes as detectives warned the 90,000 revellers set to flood through the gates of Weston Park each day during the music extravaganza that they will be thrown out for causing trouble.
Staffordshire Police bosses have spent months drawing up a safety operation in the lead-up to the event, and said automatic number plate recognition cameras will once again be in operation during the event to weed out known offenders or people linked to crime as they enter the site.
Some of the biggest names in the music industry have signed up for this year's festival, which will be held at Weston Park and Hylands Park in Chelmsford on August 22 and 23.
Oasis and The Killers will be headlining the festival, which is now in its 14th year, along with other acts including Snow Patrol, Elbow and Lady Gaga.
