City gig will launch Alesha's tour
Strictly Come Dancing champion Alesha Dixon will be at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall on May 2 and has promised fans lots of energy and, most of all, fun.

The former Mis-Teeq singer will be performing hit songs from her gold-selling solo album The Alesha Show.
Alesha, aged 30, said: "This year, I'm focusing on the live side of things. Wolverhampton is the very first date with my live band.
"I will be getting all my friends and family to come down, and I will probably be very nervous; I'm always nervous. It's the anticipation but once you get out there, it's OK.
"The live band will be accompanied by dancers as I wanted it to be more of a concept show
"Our job is to put on a good show; I am all about the energy. I want the crowd to let their hair down and feel good.
"I will just enjoy it because if you don't, the crowd definitely won't." Alesha is also looking forward to supporting Enrique Iglesias on his UK tour.
She will also be returning to Staffordshire's V Festival, this time without the company of her former bandmates.
Alesha, of Hertfordshire, said: "That's the interesting thing about it – I did it all with the girls in my Mis-Teeq days.
"To be in a position to go back as a solo artist is so exciting."
The sex symbol has just about recovered from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, where she was joined by the likes of Gary Barlow, Cheryl Cole and Chris Moyles.
"I think prior to going to Kilimanjaro, Gary Barlow did a great job," she added.
"He picked people who were easy-going and nice, and I already knew everybody from years back anyway, so it wasn't like walking with strangers.
"The pressurised part was the actual climb. It was minus-20 and I wanted a shower. I tried to make myself look as best as I could but no matter how many times you wash yourself, you never feel clean up there.
"On the first night, me and Kimberley Walsh couldn't believe we were there for another seven nights. I'm an expert camper now though.
"All of the messages I learned while I was out there, I knew already. I am very appreciative of things I have; I don't take things for granted. We are very lucky in this country.
"It was quite a personal, emotional journey; I felt drained. I wouldn't do it again, never in a million years – some people do that climb for fun.
"Thinking of the money we were raising, and how it would help people, was the only thing that got me to the top.
"I felt like giving up so many times but thinking about the bigger picture was my drive."
Alesha's new single Let's Get Excited is out on May 11.
Tickets for the Wulfrun gig are priced £16.50. Call 0870 320 7000 or visit www.wolvescivic.co.uk to book.
