Rock fans virtually packed a Midlands nightclub to the rafters last night when American rockers Tyketto took to the stage.
Fronted by ex-Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn, the 1990s-formed foursome proved they could still pack in the crowds almost 20 years on.

For bassist Jimi Kennedy and guitarist, the long hair had long gone. But with added zest from new keyboard player Bobby Lynch, the band punched out a superb setlist of Tyketto favourites which endure the years so much better than an 80s perm.
Danny Vaughn, however, still retains his trademark glossy locks, and with hair-flicking flamboyance and those powerful country-rock vocals, tracks such as Lay Your Body Down, Wings, Sail Away and Strength in Numbers were just some of singalong Tyketto treats rolled out for the crowd.
Danny has been busy this past year and not just with Tyketto. He's recently toured with his other group Vaughn, performed a selection of acoustic shows, and is also lead vocalist with the busy tribute band Illegal Eagles.
Many of his performances outside Tyketto show the relaxed side of the singer, often happy to be sat on a stool with his six-string.
But last night, for most of the set at least, Danny was at his enthusiastic and energetic best, excited by the crowd and declaring what a superb start to Tyketto's 2009 tour the JB's gig had turned out to be.
Thanks came in the form of encore songs Nothing but Love and the infectious Forever Young.
The evening had kicked off with support from Midlands rockers Eden, with tracks such as Love Hate, the rousing Fools Parade and a couple of songs from their new album, Oblivion.
In the current credit-crunching climate, nightclubs are no doubt feeling the pinch but there was no evidence of this at JB's last night; Tyketto are still pulling 'em in.
