The Steel City tour features the three enduring bands, which all have their origins in Sheffield.
Human League members Philip Oakey, Susan Anne Sulley and Joanne Catherall had eight top 10 singles including Mirror Man, Human and Love Action.
They achieved a simultaneous UK and US number one with Don't You Want Me? as well as platinum albums including the early 1980s classic Dare.
Heaven 17, fronted by Glenn Gregory, will join original members Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh to belt out hit singles.
Tracks including the twice classic hit Temptation, Come Live With Me and Crushed By The Wheels Of Industry are expected to go down well with the crowd.
ABC, including charismatic frontman Martin Fry, had a huge album in the early 80s with The Lexicon of Love.
The group will perform The Look Of Love, All Of My Heart and Poison Arrow from this classic album. Also expect to hear ABC's later hit, When Smokey Sings.
Tickets are priced £29.50 and are available on 0870 320 7000.
If you are struggling to find the ideal present for a loved one, the Civic has a number of concerts coming up that suit most tastes.
Arguably the biggest band of 2008 has been quirky duo The Ting Tings, set to play next March.

Also in March, Bjorn Again bring the magic of ABBA to life at the Wulfrun Hall.
Comedian Richard Herring relives childhood embarrassments and his first love, among other topics, in his hilarious routine on March 20.
