Liquid & Diva, Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury's main nightspot for clubbers is the Liquid/Diva duo (above) – two retro-styled clubs under one roof perched handily next to the bus station and the Pride Hill Shopping Centre.

While the smaller club Diva has a more relaxed ambience, Liquid is a spacious, high-energy mix of stadium sound, breathtaking visual shows and a vast white dancefloor.

There's an eclectic mix of special events and nights throughout the week to cater for serious party people, from urban and R'n'B hits to electro and dance anthems.

The clubs' popular resident DJs man the decks alongside a revolving door of superstar guest DJs from Judge Jules to Dave Pearce, with a few celebrity appearances thrown in for good measure – Sienna Miller famously partied at Liquid last summer.
