Midlands-bred indie rockers quartet Pris have cultivated a unique sound described as 'Smashing Pumpkins meets REM with Joy Division playing in the background.'

Who are they? Greg, vocals/keyboards/harmonic glue

Norf, guitar/backing vocals/cool sounds

Jonny, drums/guitar/ooh's and aah's

Graham, killer bass lines

Where are they from? Wolverhampton

What's their sound? The band describe their influences as including Pink Floyd, Radiohead, New Order, The Smiths, Jimi Hendrix, REM, the Beatles and Bob Dylan.

What sort of venues do they play? The Varsity in Wolverhampton, Bonds Bar in Tamworth.

Anything else? The quartet were prominent on the Midlands gig scene back in 2002 but disbanded in mid-2003 due to work commitments. Having now all settled in and around Wolverhampton the lads have reformed and are keen to reach out to a wider audience.
