Jacob Smith, aged two, from Brierley Hill, has already been crowned Teenie Mr Birmingham and took the prize as Most Handsome Boy in a photo competition.

And by taking part in the events, the youngster is raising funds for Stourbridge's Mary Stevens Hospice and Diabetes UK.

He has raised more than £300 from his win in the Teenie Mr Birmingham competition which was split between the two charities.

Jacob's proud mum and dad, Laura Wood and Matthew Smith, are now appealing for sponsorship so he can continue taking part in events.

The sponsorship would be used to cover the entry fees of the competitions which are normally around £65.

Mum Laura said her son's modelling career had started when she signed him for a cutest baby competition when he was around 14-months-old.

"It was just something I had seen on social media and was a bit of fun. I didn't think much about it to be honest," she said.

"But he won the competition.

"His prize was a photoshoot. I put the pictures on Facebook and someone contacted me about him modelling. It all stemmed from there."

Laura said her son loved the attention.

"He waves at all the ladies and blows them kisses. He absolutely loves doing it.

"It also raises money for two good causes which are very dear to us."

She said her grandfather had been cared for by Mary Stevens Hospice and Jacob's dad, Matthew, had diabetes.

"If anyone could help us with the sponsorship it would be very much appreciated," she said.

"It would help to cover the entry fees for the competitions. We are no looking for a specific amount just so we can carry on."
