However, when they go out with head-mounted cameras, blazing with self-righteousness and apparently seeking victimhood, you have to smile.

Among a clutch of recent videos on YouTube, I was most puzzled by the cyclist who was out with eight of his mates when a nasty car driver cut him up and punched him.

Eight friends and not one of them came to his aid.

If I had mates as useless as that, I don't think I'd broadcast it.
