Those idiots who think a post-riots inquiry will give us some amazing insight into why teenagers nick laptops when they have the opportunity should cast an eye over the water to Ulster.
The Bloody Sunday Inquiry cost the British taxpayer £200 million.
It has brought not a single prosecution and changed not a single mind. I doubt if it has been read in full by more than a dozen people.
Public inquiries make lawyers rich. That's all.
