You will be thrilled to learn that despite my constant moaning about the 2012 London Olympics, I am regarded as a superior being by the organisers, writes Peter Rhodes.

It is announced that 28 miles of special "games lanes" will be created in London for the Olympics.

These routes will be reserved for competitors, officials and the media.

I will be able to use them but you, as a mere citizen and taxpayer, will be fined £200 if you stray into them.

The Olympic ideal. Don't you love it?
