Bosses at a new £5 million care home in Wolverhampton are set to launch a recruitment drive, creating 10 new jobs.

The recruits will be needed to help provide support at the 62-bed Newcross Care home, in Fallings Park.

The Prestwood Road business has welcomed almost 20 new residents through its doors since opening in August.

Care home manager Julie Roberts said 10 new recruits had already been added to the initial 50 workers recruited before the centre opened.

Posts for care assistants and clerical workers were filled towards the end of the summer.
